Troubleshooting

This section helps users identify and resolve common issues encountered while using Lumi Trade.

Most problems can be resolved by checking basic settings or understanding how on-chain systems operate.

Because Lumi Trade is a hybrid, non-custodial trading platform, some behaviors may differ from traditional centralized exchanges.

I Can’t See My Funds After Depositing

If your deposit does not appear in your account, please check the following:

  • Confirm the transaction is successfully confirmed on-chain

  • Ensure the deposit was made on a supported network

  • Verify that the deposited asset is supported by Lumi Trade

  • Check that the deposit was made using the correct flow (not directly to a contract)

If the transaction is confirmed on-chain but funds are still not visible, wait a few minutes for indexing and syncing.

If the issue persists, contact support with your transaction hash (TXID).

My Transaction Is Pending or Stuck

A pending transaction usually indicates:

  • Network congestion

  • Low gas fees selected during submission

  • Temporary RPC or node delays

Lumi Trade does not control blockchain confirmation speed.

You can check the transaction status using a blockchain explorer.

If the transaction remains pending for an extended period, it may eventually fail or require replacement via your wallet.

I Cannot Open or Close a Position

If you are unable to execute a trade, possible reasons include:

  • Insufficient available margin

  • Position size exceeding risk or exposure limits

  • Market temporarily paused due to volatility

  • Oracle price update delays

  • Network or RPC instability

Try refreshing the page, reconnecting your wallet, or adjusting position size.

My Trade Was Executed at a Different Price

Price differences may occur due to:

  • Rapid market movement

  • Slippage during execution

  • Oracle price updates

  • Partial fills in volatile conditions

Lumi Trade uses oracle-based pricing and hybrid execution to reduce manipulation, but price changes can still occur in fast markets.

Always review order details before confirming.

I Was Liquidated Unexpectedly

Liquidation can happen when:

  • Margin ratio falls below the required threshold

  • Market moves rapidly against your position

  • Funding or price updates occur during high volatility

Liquidation logic is fully automated and enforced by smart contracts.

Once triggered, liquidation cannot be reversed.

To reduce liquidation risk:

  • Monitor margin closely

  • Avoid over-leveraging

  • Add margin proactively

Wallet Connection Issues

If your wallet fails to connect or disconnects unexpectedly:

  • Refresh the browser

  • Reconnect the wallet

  • Ensure your wallet is on a supported network

  • Disable conflicting wallet extensions

  • Clear browser cache if necessary

If issues persist, try using a different browser or wallet.

UI or Display Issues

If the interface behaves unexpectedly:

  • Hard refresh the page

  • Clear browser cache

  • Ensure you are using the latest browser version

  • Disable ad blockers or script blockers

  • Check network connectivity

Most UI issues are temporary and related to caching or browser extensions.

Rewards, Points, or Earnings Not Updating

Rewards and points may update with a delay due to:

  • On-chain confirmation time

  • Indexing or snapshot intervals

  • Season-based reward calculations

If rewards do not appear immediately, wait for the next update cycle.

If the issue continues beyond the expected timeframe, contact support.

When to Contact Support

You should contact Lumi Trade Support if:

  • Funds are missing after confirmed transactions

  • A position behaves inconsistently with displayed data

  • A technical error persists after troubleshooting

  • You suspect a system malfunction

Please include:

  • Wallet address

  • Transaction hash (if applicable)

  • Screenshots (optional)

  • Clear description of the issue

Important Reminder

Lumi Trade operates in a non-custodial, on-chain environment.

  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible

  • Smart contracts execute automatically

  • Users are responsible for verifying actions before confirming

Understanding how the system works is key to avoiding issues.
